The Bessemer Police Department is hosting its first annual “Teen Summit” on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 at the Bessemer Civic Center. The event will last from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and is free to those 13 and over. Isis Jones will serve as host. The event will focus on issues ranging from bullying to dating violence, suicide, safe sex and other issues relevant to teens. There will also be free food and door prizes.
