The city of Bessemer’s Economic and Community Development Department will host a series of meeting to gather citizens input on the FY2019 Community Development Block Grant Action Plan.
The meetings are open to the public and will be held at Bessemer City Hall in the Multipurpose Room. The meetings will be on Tuesday, April 23; Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25 at 6 p.m.
Residents can address comments on the CDBG Action Plan, which is funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The program provides funding for activities such as housing rehabilitation for the elderly, public facilities improvements, and small business loans and job creation.
