DISTRICT FIVE
RON MARSHALL
Ron Marshall is serving in his fourth term as City Council Representative for District 5.
He is a graduate of Wenonah High School and the University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa.
He has an extensive background as an executive in the banking and telecommunications industry. In addition, to his corporate experience, he has spent a number of years as co-owner of Myriad Communications Network, Inc. and ABC Concessions and party rentals.
As a council member, he has been involved in major projects in the city, such as the construction of a new City Hall, and the construction of a new senior/youth Recreation Center.
Councilor Marshall has worked with the Mayor and City Council to attract new businesses to the City, and therefore job opportunities for our citizens.
Councilor Marshall is a strong advocate for allocating funds to eliminate blight in our communities and paving as many streets as possible.
His goal is to serve with honesty and integrity, always seeking to do what’s best for the City of Bessemer and its citizens.
Councilor Marshall is a member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church.
