City Council appoints new leadership
The Bessemer City Council held an Organizational Meeting on Monday, November 7, 2022 at noon at Bessemer City Hall.
The meeting was the first of the newly elected Council body.
Council members elected Ron Marshall as Council President and Donna Thigpen as President Pro Tem to start the body’s new term.
The Council also appointed District 2 Councilman Chester Porter as its ex-officio member to the city of Bessemer Planning and Zoning Commission.
