Donna Thigpen is serving her fourth term as representative for District 4.



‍

Thigpen attended Oak Grove High School, Jefferson State Community College, and Bessemer State Community College, now Lawson State’s Bessemer Campus.



‍

She is a Broker/Owner with Five Star Real Estate in McCalla. Thigpen is an active member of Canaan Baptist Church on Morgan Road in Bessemer.

Her community involvement includes service with the Bessemer Chamber of Commerce, Birmingham Association of REALTORS@, Bessemer Board of REALTORS® (president in 2015 & 2016).

Alabama Association of REALTORS®, Birmingham Chapter of Women’s Council of REALTORS® (president in 2011), and the Southeast Bessemer Neighborhood Association.
